Materials for walls — sound insulation, absorption and heat
Walls involve two separate problems: sound passing from one room to another (fixed with a sound-insulating wall system) and echo inside a room (fixed with absorption on the wall surface). Sun-exposed walls can also take insulation in the cavity to reduce heat.
