Product details
Acoustic foam in 10 profiles · grey-black · mostly 2 in thick
- Thickness
- 38.1–101.6 mm
What is it?
Top Tone is a grey-black acoustic foam in 10 profiles — flat, pyramid, triangle, egg crate, wedge and more — mostly 2 in thick. It absorbs echo and reflections inside a room so speech and music sound clearer. Panels are fixed with water-based construction adhesive. How much you need depends on the room's size and use — our engineers can work it out.
What is it made of?

Limitations to know
Acoustic foam reduces echo inside the room but cannot stop sound passing through walls — that needs an added drywall layer. Do not cover every surface: the room becomes too dead and music sounds dry.

Highlights
- 10 profiles, grey-black
- Mostly 2 in thick
- Easy to fix with water-based construction adhesive
- Our engineers can calculate how many panels a room needs
Installation overview
- Fix with a water-based construction adhesive such as Pattex PL50 — low odour, strong grip
- One tube covers about 2–2.5 m² of foam
- Spray adhesives are not recommended: most have a strong smell if you need to use the room straight away
Always follow the manufacturer's installation and safety instructions.
