What is it?
ArmaFlex Class 1 from Armacell is black closed-cell synthetic-rubber insulation in rolls 1.22 m wide, for pipes, air ducts and vessels (including elbows and flanges) in air-conditioning, refrigeration and process equipment. Per the maker no additional vapour barrier is required; it is free of fibre and formaldehyde. Outdoors it must be protected from UV.

Limitations to know
Per the maker, the maximum service temperature drops to +85 °C when the sheet is glued over its whole surface, and outdoors it must be painted or covered for UV protection within three days of installation.
