What is it?
AEROCEL-D/AL from Aeroflex is a lightweight closed-cell elastomeric roll faced with reinforced aluminium foil for HVAC air-duct systems. The maker states it can be installed on internal and external duct surfaces and needs no additional jacketing; it is non-fibrous and contains no formaldehyde. Rolls are 1.20 m wide, 10–50 mm thick; adhesive lamination is available on request.
